Job Description
We're looking for a very capable and proactive Head of Department (HOD) for our Maintenance department in our Chennai injection moulding factory. In order to guarantee the dependable and effective operation of all injection moulding machines, auxiliary equipment, tooling, and plant utilities, you will be in charge of providing operational oversight and strategic leadership for all maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
Construct and execute a thorough maintenance plan that is in line with production objectives, emphasising the optimisation of injection moulding equipment uptime and the reduction of downtime.
Establish goals, assign resources, train the maintenance crew, and cultivate a proactive and cooperative work atmosphere as the leader and manager of the maintenance department.
Preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), breakdown maintenance, and the repair of injection moulding machines, moulds, robots, conveyors, chillers, compressors, and other auxiliary equipment are all under your supervision.
Using equipment specifications and industry best practices, create and manage efficient preventive maintenance schedules and processes.
Use and put into practice predictive maintenance methods (such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis) to anticipate possible equipment failures and plan preventative actions.

Skills:
strong knowledge of quality management methods and how to use them in a paint shop setting, with a focus on producing plastic finishes of the highest calibre.
Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities in relation to paint flaws and plastics process optimisation.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities in English, both in writing and speaking. Leading local teams in Chennai would greatly benefit from knowing Tamil.

Educational Qualification: Any BE Degree
Experience: 8+ yrs
