Role Objective
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to bridge the gap between our sales efforts and technical execution. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in the solar industry, ensuring that residential and commercial projects move seamlessly from the initial lead stage to final installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Tracking
Serve as the central point of contact between the Sales Team, Technical Engineers, and the Installation Team.
Create and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of rooftop solar installations (on-grid/off-grid).
Monitor project milestones and provide regular status updates to management.
2. Sales Coordination & Documentation
Support the sales team by managing leads and updating CRM records for residential and commercial prospects.
Oversee the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR), technical quotations, and Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
Manage documentation for government subsidies, net-metering applications, and CEIG approvals.
3. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of components like panels, inverters, and mounting structures.
Liaise with site engineers to ensure site surveys are completed and technical specifications are met.
Follow up with the accounts department regarding project payments and vendor invoices.
4. Client Communication
Maintain professional communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Address client queries regarding installation timelines, system performance, and after-sales service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Graduate in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience specifically within the Solar Industry (Sales coordination or project support).
Technical Literacy: Basic understanding of solar components (KW ratings, Net-metering, elevated structures).
Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (for lead tracking/DPR) and CRM software.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil.
Soft Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, organisational skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
