Quality Control:

Initiate kick-off meetings and orient contractors on project quality expectations.

Prepare the project quality plan and method statements for assigned projects, and seek necessary approvals.

Inspect incoming materials for quality compliance, identify deviations, and inform relevant stakeholders to coordinate for timely replacements; arrange third-party inspections as needed.

Conduct weekly quality walk-throughs on-site to ensure all project activities comply with company standards and regulatory requirements. Issue non-conformance (NC) reports to contractors for any deviations, conduct root cause analysis, and submit CAPA actions for approval.

Perform site inspections during handover to verify unit readiness; collaborate with stakeholders to address and correct deviations.

Highlight and drive resolution of any deviations with relevant stakeholders within defined timelines.

Ensure all non-conformances observed during inspections are resolved through collaboration with stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all inspections and third-party reports.

Prepare and manage quality MIS reports for each project.

Quality Assurance

Implement all quality related activities in adherence to the Birla Quality Manual and other relevant standards for the assigned site.

Participate in both internal and external audits; ensure site readiness and furnish required documentation during audits.

Collaborate with the project head to ensure closure of all site audit points within specified timelines and implement corrective actions as needed.

Conduct regular quality training sessions at site to raise quality awareness; participate in external training programs as required.

Continuous Improvements

Provide inputs for improvements in the QMS.

Identify opportunities for improvement basis best practices, seek sign off and ensure effective implementation.
