Responsibilities
Install, run, and maintain laser cutting equipment for a range of materials, including plastics and metals.
In order to guarantee precise cutting in accordance with specifications, interpret technical drawings, CAD designs, and blueprints.
In order to maximise cutting quality and efficiency, calibrate and modify the machine settings.
Investigate and quickly fix any technical problems with the laser cutting device.
Work together with the engineering and design teams to troubleshoot and optimise production.
Make sure to meet production timelines while upholding exacting and high-quality requirements.
Make sure the workspace is safe and tidy, and perform routine maintenance on the machines.
Ensure that production data is accurately recorded, and promptly report any problems to the production supervisor.
