Responsibilities:
Make courteous and tenacious phone follow-ups with insurance companies regarding unpaid or undervalued medical claims.
To find the causes of denials, underpayments, and inconsistencies, examine Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Call insurance companies proactively to find out the status of claims, address denials, and expedite payment.
Ensure that all correspondence and account-related actions are accurately recorded in the medical billing system.
Determine complex or recurring denial trends and report them to the manager or AR team lead.
In order to fix problems that impede claim payment, cooperate with the coding and payment posting teams.
Educational Qualification: Any Basic Degree
Experience: 3+ yrs
