Job Description Experience/: 3/+ yrs

Salary/: Based on Previous Experience

Education/: Any Basic Degree

Duties/: EOB/ERA Processing/: Correctly post payments from different payers to the appropriate patient accounts in the PMS using Electronic Remittance Advice /(ERA/) and manual Explanation of Benefits /(EOB/) forms.

Adjustments/: Based on the EOB/ERA information and payer contracts, appropriately apply contractual adjustments, write/-offs, copays, deductibles, and co/-insurance.

Unapplied Funds/: Address any unapplied payments or credit balances on patient accounts and accurately publish them. HIPAA Compliance/: When managing and processing financial information, strictly comply to HIPAA regulations and patient data privacy. Reporting/: Create daily and weekly reports that include posted amounts, reconciliation status, and significant denial patterns in order to support the AR Manager. Ready to take the leap HR /-
