Job Description
Focus: In the context of Chennai's business environment, place special emphasis on the fundamental abilities of handling financial transactions, keeping correct records, and guaranteeing adherence to accounting rules.
Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

What you ll Do:
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for our Chennai operations.
Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy of cash balances and identify any discrepancies in our Chennai accounts.
Assist with the preparation and filing of statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes in India, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records of disbursements and receipts for our Chennai office.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing relevant financial data and analysis for our Chennai operations.

What you need:
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with accounting software commonly used in Chennai is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in our Chennai office.
