Job Description
Do you have extensive knowledge of CNC machine operations, tool selection, and process optimisation to guarantee accurate and efficient production? Are you a highly experienced and diligent CNC Setter situated in Chennai?

As a CNC Setter, you will be a vital member of our precision machining team at our Chennai-based company, helping to prepare, optimise, and supervise the setup of our cutting-edge CNC machines. We provide a demanding and fulfilling work environment where your technical know-how will directly support our superior manufacturing output and production effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
Configure a variety of CNC machines for production runs in accordance with engineering programs, requirements, and drawings.
Accurately interpret G-code programs, engineering drawings, and blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Choose and set up the proper workholding fixtures, holders, and cutting tools.
Make sure the machine is properly clamped and aligned before loading raw materials.
Work coordinates, tool lengths, offsets, and other machine parameters should all be calibrated and adjusted.
Make sure parts fulfil quality standards by doing a first-piece inspection with precision measurement tools.

Qualification:
ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools with ease.
strong knowledge of cutting instruments, their geometries, and their uses.
rudimentary knowledge of G-code and M-code programming for small changes and modifications.

Education: 10th, 12th or ITI Graduation
Experience: 1 to 3 yrs
