Job description
Utility Maintenance Asst Manager Core Management Function Job Description Our manufacturing division's "Infrastructure Continuity Architect" and "Plant Energy Management Authority" are the Assistant Manager for Utility Maintenance. Your principal responsibility is to methodically design, maintain, and improve the vital utility infrastructure that powers our high/-volume injection molding production environment throughout the whole plant. As the "Zero/-Downtime Facility Guardian," you have complete operational control over sub/-station lines, high/-capacity air compressors, centralized chilled water loops, heavy power distribution cells, and facility automation networks. The ideal applicant is a highly organized engineering systems leader who combines disciplined mastery of predictive maintenance models, plant safety codes, and cost/-control matrices with an impeccable tactical grasp of industrial thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and automated electrical panels. Responsibilities/: essential Molding Utility Up/-Time Governance/: Prevent molding cycle disruptions by managing, maintaining, and defending the continuous availability of essential production utilities, such as centralized water chillers, cooling towers, high/-volume screw air compressors, and desiccant resin dryers. Manage the plant's high/-voltage sub/-station infrastructure by ensuring that transformers, HT/LT panels, automatic voltage regulators, capacitor banks, and synchronized diesel generator /(DG/) backup units are operating at peak safety levels. Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Execution/: Create and implement thorough plant utility preventive maintenance /(PM/) models, isolating failure loops before malfunctions appear by using predictive diagnostic tools like vibration spectrum analysis, thermography testing, and oil degradation indexing. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Plant Piping Architecture/: Maintain stringent flow mechanics, pipe friction controls, and dual/-pump redundancy interlocks while monitoring and optimizing plant auxiliary water and compressed air distribution loop pressures. Automation & SCADA/BMS Supervision/: To dynamically balance facility utility loops based on active line loads, monitor, configure, and maintain automated facility software systems, such as SCADA, PLCs, VFDs, and BMS. EHS Compliance & Industrial Safety Stewardship/: Manage lock/-out/tag/-out /(LOTO/) permits, pressure/-vessel statutory registrations, fire hydrant circuit audits, and pollution board documentation loops while enforcing stringent environmental, health, and safety requirements across plant utilities. Skills/: Industrial Utility Dynamics & Machinery Literacy/: Thorough structural knowledge of multi/-stage water pumps, thermodynamic heat exchangers, large screw compressors, and industrial refrigeration vapor/-compression cycles. Advanced Electrical & Automation Automation Competency/: Excellent operational knowledge in reading PLC logic steps, diagnosing VFD parameters, troubleshooting power factor variations, and reading industrial electrical diagrams. The practical capacity to decipher thermal cameras, vibration sensors, sound/-based air leak detectors, and chemical analysis sheets used in water treatment is known as predictive asset diagnostic tool literacy. Advanced Tracking Spreadsheet Engineering/: Calculate plant energy breakdowns, build intricate maintenance schedules, track daily diesel logs, and create utility uptime dashboards with high operational comfort using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity/! Warm Regards,
