Job Description
The VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Turning Lathe CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and quality control, with a focus on vertical turning operations.

Responsibilities
Set up and operate VTL CNC machines, including loading and unloading workpieces.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Select, install, and adjust appropriate cutting tools and fixtures for vertical turning operations.
Load and edit CNC programs as required, making necessary adjustments for optimal machining.
Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial gauges).

Skills:
Proven experience as a CNC Operator, specifically with Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL).
Strong understanding of vertical turning operations and machining principles.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Proficiency in using various precision measuring instruments.

Educational Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th or Above
Experience: 3+ yrs
