The highlight is an hour s showcase of well compered Tamil classical music & Bharathanatyam recital ,folk dances & martial arts performed at the 500 seater auditorium, followed by Thorpavai koothu an ancient form of leather puppetry at the charming puppetry theater . A crafts bazaar where one can shop for curios, Astrology and photo ops are given as fun activities.
The evening winds up with an ethnic vegetarian dinner - A Set menu of typical Tamilian fare ( many of which cannot be had at regular restaurants) prepared the traditional way and served with warmth and care on banana leaves. Dishes made from local millets such as varagu, thinai, saamai , homemade preparations such as Urad dal rice and herbal drinks have been receiving rave reviews from the guests.
