We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Analyst to ensure the accuracy and compliance of our medical billing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical billing regulations, coding guidelines, and quality assurance methodologies. This role is responsible for conducting audits, identifying errors, and implementing corrective actions to enhance the overall quality of our billing operations.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough audits of medical billing records to ensure accuracy and adherence to payer requirements, HIPAA standards, and coding guidelines (CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10).
Examine the processes for submitting claims, posting payments, and handling denials.
Examine billing information and audit results to detect trends and patterns that affect quality.
Provide thorough reports on quality indicators, compliance concerns, and audit findings.
