Job Description
Primary Task: In order to enable fast and accurate claim submission for healthcare services rendered in Chennai, it is necessary to accurately and efficiently record patient demographic, insurance, and medical coding information into the billing system.

Responsibilities
In the medical billing system, accurately enter patient demographics, insurance information, and medical coding information (CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS) from source documents.
Verify the provided medical codes for accuracy and consistency by performing simple checks.
Use internet portals or other verification techniques to confirm the patient's insurance eligibility and coverage.
Report complicated mistakes or omitted details to the proper staff.
Reach accuracy and productivity goals on a daily and monthly basis.

Required Abilities:
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using data entry software and MS Office Suite.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
