In charge of contacting insurance companies (in the US) on behalf of physicians and following up on unpaid accounts receivable.
to order the ageing basket's outstanding claims for calling.
must be able to persuade the claims firm (payers) to settle their unpaid claims.
to verify that the patient's insurance information is correct, if it is insufficient or ambiguous.
to make a phone call while adhering to appropriate confidentiality and HIPAA regulations as well as international agreements.
