Responsibilities
Examine underpaid and denied claims to determine the underlying reason for rejections.
Examine unpaid or partially paid claims to determine the cause of any inconsistencies or nonpayment.
Make sure that payments and adjustments are posted accurately by reconciling patient accounts.
Create and examine AR reports to find patterns in payments, ageing claims, and denials.
Verify that all AR operations adhere to payer criteria, business policy, and HIPAA regulations.

Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills for payer follow-up.
