In charge of contacting insurance providers (in the US) on behalf of physicians and following up on unpaid accounts receivable
To rank the aging basket's outstanding claims for calling.
If the patient's insurance information is insufficient or ambiguous, to verify that it is appropriate.
It is important to promptly escalate challenging collecting circumstances to management.
Needs to be familiar with the fundamentals of revenue cycle management (RCM).
