Job Description
We are looking to add a driven and well-organised Payment Posting Specialist to our expanding revenue cycle group. You will be essential to the timely and accurate processing of insurance reimbursements and patient payments as a Payment processing Specialist.
Requirements:
Accurately and efficiently post payments from various sources (insurance companies, patients, etc.) to patient accounts in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Verify payment information against remittance advices (RAs) and other supporting documentation to ensure accuracy
Reconcile daily cash receipts and ensure accurate posting of payments to patient accounts.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies and denials
Skills:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and payment posting
Basic understanding of medical billing and insurance reimbursement procedures
Proficiency in using EHR systems and other relevant software application
