Job Description
Responsibilities
Enter and verify patient insurance information, including policy numbers, group IDs, and payer details.
Review patient intake forms and other relevant documents to ensure all necessary demographic and insurance data is captured correctly.
Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information in patient documentation, following up with relevant parties as needed.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and speed in data entry to meet productivity targets.
Follow established data entry guidelines and procedures to ensure data integrity.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare insurance concepts is a plus.
Proficiency in using computers and basic data entry software/medical billing systems.
Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and preferably Tamil.
