Responsibilities
- Accurate Charge Entry: Enter daily charges for multiple physicians precisely and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Daily Productivity: Ensure timely production of required daily account output, including thorough documentation and reporting of activities.
- Client and Service Knowledge: Stay informed about clients and the services provided to ensure accurate charge entry.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of managed care and governmental laws and procedures; effectively interpret and communicate these rules to ensure adherence.
- Auditing and Accuracy: Audit and evaluate accounts based on coding specifications, medical terminology, and billing standards to ensure reimbursement accuracy.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve patient and insurance issues with accuracy and efficiency.
- Quality Improvement: Provide recommendations to management and actively participate in ongoing quality improvement programs.
- Process Enhancement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving reimbursement results and processes.
