Job Description
Primary Task: To ensure timely reconciliation and accurate financial records by accurately and efficiently posting insurance company and patient payments into the medical billing system.

Responsibilities
Verify that payments are made to the appropriate line items, patient accounts, and service dates.
Recognise and correctly apply co-pays, deductibles, denials, and contractual adjustments.
Check the reported payments for accuracy, and fix any mistakes or discrepancies that are found.
Find and identify any patterns or problems with payments that could affect revenue cycle management.
Keep patient financial information private while adhering to all applicable laws.
Observe the company's payment processing policies and procedures.

Required Abilities:
Proficiency in interpreting EOBs and ERAs from various Indian insurance payers.
Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payment discrepancies.
