Roles and Responsibilities:
As a VMC Setter based in Chennai, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient setup of our Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role will significantly enhance your understanding of machine setup procedures, tooling selection specific to VMCs, and quality control processes prevalent in the Chennai manufacturing sector. You will learn to interpret technical documents, diagnose and resolve machine setup issues, and ensure efficient production processes that meet our quality standards.

Skills:
strong familiarity with VMC machine setup and operating procedures related to common Chennai controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain).
the capacity to precisely read and comprehend engineering requirements and drawings, including GD&T.
proficiency with the dial indicators, micrometres, and callipers that are frequently utilised in Chennai workshops.
thorough understanding of the selection, use, and upkeep of VMC tools.

Experience: 1 to 6 yrs
Qualification: Any Diploma Degree
