Job Description
Focus: Stress the fundamental abilities of inventory control, material flow assurance, and store organisation in a manufacturing environment in Chennai while taking local supply chains and operational quirks into account.
Experience: 1 to 3 yrs

What you ll Do:
Oversee all store operations within the manufacturing facility in Chennai, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, components, consumables, and finished goods.
Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies, taking into account local supplier lead times and demand patterns.
Issue materials to production departments based on material requisitions, ensuring timely availability and accurate documentation of material movement within the Chennai plant.
Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions (receipts, issues, returns, adjustments) using inventory management software or manual systems, as applicable to the Chennai operations.
Implement and enforce safety procedures within the stores department, ensuring compliance with local safety regulations and company policies specific to the Chennai site.

What you need:
Strong understanding of inventory management principles, material handling procedures, and storekeeping best practices relevant to Chennai's industrial context.
