Job Description
Responsibilities:
Toolpath generation, machining process simulation, and program optimisation for effectiveness and quality can all be done with CAD/CAM software.
To attain the required surface finishes, dimensional accuracy, and material removal rates, apply and improve machining techniques.
Maintain consistency by conducting in-process quality checks and modifying machine parameters as needed.
On milling machines, identify and fix problems with the electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Maintain cutting tool availability and upkeep by managing and optimising the tooling inventory.
Make sure your workplace is tidy, well-organised, and secure.
Skills:
Ability to work independently and as a vital part of a production team.
Proactive approach to continuous improvement and learning.
Basic knowledge of other machining processes (turning, grinding) is a plus.
